A mere 6 months after his community mourned the loss of Tupac Shakur, shockwaves were felt across the globe at the news of a drive-by shooting, which had injured the Notorious B.I.G. The vehicle he was in was stopped at a stoplight, when suddenly, someone opened fire. Not long after, it was confirmed he suffered 4 gunshot wounds, and that he succumbed to his injuries at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was only 24 years old.
Known to the public as Notorious B.I.G., or Biggie Smalls, the legend that fell too soon was given the birth name of Christopher Wallace. He was already highly esteemed as a leader in the world of hip hop, and is said to have fallen victim to the ongoing feud between rappers from the east and west coast.
